By Kirah - April 12, 2018

Welcome to my Blog and I apologize for the delay. I was organizing things and do you notice new look of my blog? I am still new to this so it took some times. Plus right now I am on my business trip in Skelleftea, Sweden. Please understand that I need to cope with the intense training and work. At the same time, I am planning to be active on YouTube! It is a good news for you and I am working on a video (will be released very soon). Appreciate if you can subscribe my channel. Enough the long introduction, lets begin with Part 4 of my trip to South Korea!

Day 8: EVERLAND

We began our day quite early. As we stayed at Gwangju so we need to wait for the bus. If not mistaken, it was bus number 1113 or bus 32 from ICT bus stop. We waited for almost 30 mins and catch the bus. It took probably 1 hour and we got down at the last stop which was the bus station and run for provided shuttle bus for another 30 minutes before reaching Everland. It was free. We got there around 9.30am and showed our ticket that we bought online in advance. The queue was overwhelming. There were 5-6 lines ready at the entrance. Did I mentioned before the price of the ticket was MYR109 from Klook. It was cheaper than buying on the spot which will cost you twice the price. It was sharp 10am, the entrance gates opened. As we bought the all-in ticket , so we got to enjoy everything except for performances and exhibition. Unfortunately, the ultimate ride was closed because of the weather condition. It was such a waste. Unexpectedly Una joined me in every single ride even the scariest unlike others. But we enjoyed so much and it was great feeling to be able being a kid again. I think due to the weekend and public holiday, they had a lot of visitors than usual. What I can tell you Everland is a huge theme park and way bigger if compare to Sunway Lagoon. You might have to climb number of stairs and hike for mini hills during your tour inside the park. And it is bigger than Lotte World. It was a regret to not having the T-Express Wooden Roller Coaster ride, I must come back one fine day! There were mainly burger restaurants and small stalls here and there, in Everland. Everywhere, I've seen couples acting lovey-dovey and cringy.  There were few Malaysian families with their kids and babies playing with small rides. I am still shook because Una could stand it. The toughest was not riding the scary ride but it was about waiting for a long time in cold weather accompanied by strong wind. We had our lunch at one of the burger restaurant and went back at 6.30pm. The shuttle bus waited for tourist outside and it stopped you at the bus stop. Then we waited for the same bus 32/1113 to depart. We reached at our home stay around 8pm and went for grocery shopping. Because we did not have proper meals yet, we decided to cook for dinner. The next day, we checked out and headed to GyeonggiGwangju train station. We were clueless on how to get there at first. Luckily our host offered us a ride to the station. We cannot thank enough with their kindness. So we gave them our picture as souvenir. We did offer them some pocket money, but we got rejected. I recommend you guys to stay at their house if you are at the area. They were so nice!

Right now, you need to bare with tremendous pictures that we took in Everland! Enjoy every piece of it.

Day 9: GANGNAM - HONGDAE , SEOUL

Once we reached Seoul, we headed towards Chungmuro station. It was early in the morning, so the hostel owner where we stayed at, was not at the reception. Luckily, there was a uni student passed by and offered us help and call the guy. We checked in early and left the luggage. We dedicated this day as Idol Hunting Day. We headed to SMTown Coex at Samseong COEX station. Syimir and Amirah were buying something while the others went to the cafe and chill out with coffee. We didnt' managed to take picture but you can find every product by SM artist here. Their trophies and signature were displayed everywhere. At the top level was the remembrance area of Jonghyun Shinee. Then we went to Nonhyeon station to go to BigHit. It was tricky and it was somewhat hidden to find new BigHit building. We walked around the area many times but still not sure which was the right one. Basically, BigHit located above a furniture/lamp show area. Then we continued our journey to SMTown building at Gangnam. After that, we walked around Gangnam and took picture with the idol group dolls. From SM building, you can walk straight and you can find JYP building and FNC entertainment building. We were unlucky because there was no single idol we bumped into.

Syimir and Farahin went to MyeongDong and we were separated. The rest went to Hongdae to see the street performance. I was so happy because finally we could see someone dancing my favorite song. I was over joyed because the performers were really good looking. We took a lot of videos. and I will just keep it for myself, hehe. That night we went back to the hostel early and rested.

Day 10: NAMSAN - ITAEWON, SEOUL

We got ready and catch the bus to Namsan Tower / Seoul Tower. From Chungmuro station exit 1 or exit 2, in front of the cinema, we waited for the but number 2 or number 5. The bus took us at the final stop to the tower. After that, we hiked a little to reach the peak. For me Namsan is not overrated at all even it is a common tourist spot. If the weather was nice that day, I will prefer to climb rather than taking the bus. It was really nice. We spent 2 hours at Namsan because it was so beautiful. Everything was so fine. I took a lot of pictures. There are two ways to go to Namsan Tower by public transport. Either by bus or you can ride the cable car from MyeongDong station. It will cost you KRW8000 (approximately MYR25).  I will show you how amazing Namsan Tower is before I spam the pictures of us.

Now, these are pictures that we took up there

We got to spend some time with Fateha on our last day. We met her once we got back from Namsan Tower. She brought us to a restaurant in Itaewon. Omg this restaurant offered great meals. We ate a lot and the interior was so nice. We headed to Chunchon for the ultimate dessert. We ate bingsu. We ordered variety of flavored bingsu and my favorite was green tea. We got separated again. They wanted to spend their own time and buying stuff for families and friends while Fateha and I went for noraebang! We walked to Ehwa Woman University area from Chunchon and went for karaoke-ing for 2 hours. Then Fateha brought me to the cheapest place to buy sleeping masks. After that, we went for street food and eat again. We decided to gather at Myeongdong and had a dinner together. There was a muslim restaurant and it quite popular among Malaysia called "Kampung Ku". We had decent Malaysian meals because it was our last dinner in Korea. It was nice to have familiar face around. We greeated Fateha sweet goodbye after the dinner and headed back to the hostel.

Day 11: INCHEON AIRPORT

We called for a van taxi. It costed us KRW80,000 (approximately MYR300) per van. The taxi driver picked us up on 8am. It took us nearly 2 hours from Seoul to Incheon. Our flight was at 12.15pm. So we managed to check in and chilled out before boarding. It was unexpected, Amiera saw Monsta-X when she was on her way to buy something at the airport. Lucky her, but it was just a glimpse. That was our journey in South Korea for almost 11 days.

The End! šŸ™‹
